I"ll set the idle for warmed up and just crack the throttle a bit to get it warmed up when it's cold. That was a relief. The Fast Idle Air Valve does this as a very coarse adjustment based on temperature. May 11, 2008 · You want the ISC in the middle of it's range, while adjusting the BISS for optimal setting (Our idle should be 800 RPMs). The ECU seemed fine up until recently, when I installed the WB. But what exactly is the middle of it's range? If you log it, I think it goes anywhere from 0-100+. Now the only idle controls will be the BISS and ECU. That small increase in coil resistance knocked out part of the ISC control circuit. Apr 3, 2004 · The ISC basically gives you temp dependant idle changes. The newer (black) ISCs should measure about 40 ohms across those same pin combinations.
